A Celebration of Life Service and burial will take place at a later date.
Rusty was a lifelong resident of the Augusta area. He was a master carpenter with a big smile and an even bigger heart. Rusty was a sweet, kind soul who always put himself out for others and was a one of a kind brother and son who was loved by all. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, William H. and Betty Zehring Lyons of Timberville, VA, brothers, Jeffrey D. (Candice) Lyons of Savannah, GA, Timothy (Cheryl) Lyons, of North Augusta, SC, Chris (Starr) Lyons of Grovetown, GA, sister, Rebecca (Daniel) Fulcher of Harrisonburg, VA, many nieces and nephews.
