

Scott was a devoted husband, a loving father, brother, son, and a dedicated teacher. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met—his kindness, warmth, and sense of humor left an indelible mark on those lucky enough to know him. His students admired and respected him not only as an educator, but as a mentor and role model.
Scott cherished time with his children, Leland and Cora, and was happiest when making memories with them. He had a passion for collecting action figures and was a beloved regular at Top Dog Comic Shop, where his friendly chatter and good nature made him a favorite among the staff.
To his friends, Scott was "the nicest guy they knew “an instant friend with a generous heart and a contagious smile.
Scott is preceded in death by his brother, Troy Ball. He is survived by his loving wife, Ashley; his children, Leland and Cora; his parents, Orlow and Barbara Ball; his brother, Christopher Ball (Jeannette); and his parents-in-law, Ron and Sherry Thom.
Scott will be deeply missed by his family, friends, students, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A funeral service for Scott will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Honey Creek Woodland, 2625 GA-212, Conyers, Georgia 30094.
