

He was born in Augusta, GA on April 22, 1943 to Wilfred Lee Inglett Sr. and Elizabeth Crouch Inglett. Mr. Inglett moved to Atlanta, GA where he worked for Moore Group Insurance and its subsidiaries for 40 years. He retired and returned home where he assisted in the care of his sister, Betty. His joys in life were taking care of others, and he did, unconditionally. He loved traveling the world, playing the piano and caring for his beloved dog, Buffy.
Mr. Inglett is preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred Lee Inglett Sr. and Elizabeth Crouch Inglett; brother, Wilfred “Billy” Lee Inglett Jr; and lifelong friend, Martha Harrison. Survivors include his sisters, Betty L. Inglett of Augusta, GA, Joanne I. Craft (Vernon) of Pawley’s Island, SC, Carol I. Evans and ex-brother-in-law and friend of 39 years, J. Michael Evans, Sr. MD of Greenville, SC; brother, Ronald “Ronnie” (Donna Lee) Inglett of Augusta, GA; and brother-in-law, Jeffrey J. Dooley of Greenville, SC; sister-in-law, Barbara “Bobbie” B. Inglett; nieces, Pam I. Bothwell (Jay) of Washington DC and Sheri (David) Johnson of Martinez, GA; nephews, Wilfred “Lee” Inglett III (Julie) of Martinez, GA and J. Michael Evans Jr. of Birmingham, AL and Wilfred S. Evans of Charleston, SC; great-nieces Anna Lee and Alexis Inglett of Martinez, GA; great-nephew, Scott I.Johnson (Adrianne) of North Augusta, SC; and lifelong friends, Bobby (Nancy) Claxton of Darien, GA, Richard Harrison of Atlanta, GA; Dr. and Mrs. John Boutwell and family of Appling, GA; and the Crouch cousins, Clay, Brab and Chuck
The family will receive friends at 1pm, Sunday, February 26, 2017 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. A memorial service will follow at 2pm, Sunday, February 26, 2017 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
