Theda Adelaide Davis

Born in Lexington, NY, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Edith J. Robinson Dunham. She moved to Georgia in 1998 from Alexandria, Indiana. Theda and her husband, Joe Davis, owned The Alexandria Radiator Shop. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Martinez. Theda was a big Braves fan, loved to travel, did puzzles, ceramics, played cards and Mah Jongg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe P. Davis, Grandson, Steve Bryan, Sisters, Ethel Payne, Helen Bishop, Viva Becker, Brothers, Richard Dunham, Russell Dunham, and Daniel Dunham. Theda is survived by her daughters, Twila Saitow, Grovetown; Dorleen (David) Rowe, Allentown, PA; Fredrica (Tom) Perdue, Columbus, IN; Grandchildren, Dean (Kim) Saitow, Ken (Lisa) Saitow, Michael (Dana) Rowe, Patrick (fiancé’ Caitrin) Rowe, Jessica (Steve) Scharf, Great grandchildren, David Saitow, Amanda Saitow, Kayla Saitow, Maury Saitow, Shelby Bryan, Kerri Bryan, June Elizabeth Rowe; Great-Great grandchildren, Koralynn Saitow and Brittney Saitow.

Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 3pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Internment will take place on Friday in Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson, IN. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society.
