Born on January 10, 1933, he was the son of the late Dennis Morris McCann and Mary Alice McCann.
“Knuckles” was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings: Mary M. Winfrey, Sarah K Wilson and Helen V. Branson. He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
“Knuckles” attended Jefferson County Schools and went on to serve in the United States Army. After receiving an honorable discharge he settled in Shepherdstown.
Friends will be received on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am at Asbury United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
