Born December 31, 1923 in Dade City, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Fuchs.
Christine was a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Red Hats.
She is survived by her sisters: Rosemarie Meiers and Bertha Palamar; her children: John Ostrowski (Nancy), Edward Ostrowski Jr. (Toni), Roger Ostrowski, Christine Appell (James), Michele “Shelly” Ostrowski, and Mary Jo Barnes (Robert); her grandchildren: Karen Williams (Steve), Carl Ostrowski, Christopher Scruggs (Jessica), Faris McCandless (Chris), Alanna Ostrowski, Lauren Atiles (Bruce), Mark Ostrowski (Stephanie), Marissa Hasser (Walt), and Eryn Appell; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Edward Ostrowski Sr.; her identical twin, Sr. Joanne Fuchs; and her sister, Dorothy Fuchs.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 6-8pm at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
