Born July 3, 1956, in Martinsburg, he was the son of Frances V. Martin Moreland, and the late James F. Moreland.
He was in the Army Reserves for twelve years and before his illness he was a truck driver for twenty-five years.
Dennis was a member of Calvary Bible Baptist Church, where he was baptized in the name of the Lord.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Donna M. Moreland; two sisters: Debra K. Cornish and Donna R. Baker and her husband, Keith; two children: Jason J. Moreland and Beth A. Moreland; one grandson, Aiden J. Houser; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends will be received on Thursday, February 19th from 1pm until the time of the memorial service at 2pm at Rosedale Funeral Home with Pastor David Moser officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to City National Bank or Rosedale for the benefit of the Moreland family.
