He was the son of the late Maurice Lee Moore and Mabel Virginia Dillow Moore.
D.Moore retired from Mack Trucks after a 30+ year career as a machinist. He served in the Navy/Navy Reserve from 11/66 - 7/72. He received the National Defense Service Medal.
He was an avid Shepherd University football fan and could be found watching sports at J&Ds.
He is survived by his son and best friend, Nick Moore (Donna Franklin). He is also survived by his wife, Pam Moore, stepdaughter Samantha Viands (David) and grandchildren Hannah Shull and Elijah and Luke Viands. His friends are too many to list but easy to find.
