Gail Proctor

Born on September 27, 1939 in Roanoke, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Bragg and Alice Belle Old.

She was a graduate of Washington and Lee High School in Arlington, Virginia. She married the love of her life, John Proctor, on December 31, 1956.

After raising her three wonderful children, she earned her GED and chose to work for Sears in Arlington, Virginia in the payroll department.

She is survived by her husband of almost 64 years, John Proctor; her children: Jay Proctor (Terri), Kathy Wilbur (Steve), Mark Proctor (Susan), and Luis Bouril (Chris); sisters: June Martin, Patty Oxendine (Neil), and Robin Boukaia (Frederic); grandchildren: Billy, Emily, Melinda, Rachel, Natalie, Matthew, Melanie, Samantha, Stephanie, Sarah, Alex, Charles, Michael, Adam, Jessi, and Joseph; and great-grandchildren: Camille, Landon, Sydney, Taylor, Reed, and Juniper.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8pm at Rosedale Funeral Home.

A Going Home Celebration will be held on Friday at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, John recommends a donation be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Drive, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
