Born October 28, 1980 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of Pamela and Louis Setting and Harald and Penny Martinson, II.
Marty was attending James Rumsey and due to graduate July 22nd. He was a member of the National Technical Honor Society. He had just passed the Apprentice level of the WV State Electrical Examination. He was a graduate of the Pittsburg Art Institute, and was a talented and prolific artist. He was beloved by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Morgan Martinson (Benjamin Galatzer-Levy); his brother, Ryan Setting (Ginni Setting); two nephews: Clark and Luke Setting; grandparents: Ethel “Nanny” McCoy and James Capps; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Setting; and grandparents: Robert “Pappy” McCoy, Doris Capps, and Martha and Harald Martinson.
Friends and family will be received at Rosedale Funeral Home on Monday, June 6th, from 4-6pm with a brief service at 5pm.
Following the service, family and friends are invited for food and fellowship from 6-9pm at the Barn at Poor House Farm.
