John N. Gregas

John N Gregas, of Martinsburg, WV. passed away in his home on Monday, February 14, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents Charles and Mary Gregas and his brother Norman Gregas. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Patricia Gregas; Loving father to John Gregas, Joan Gregas and Jennifer Runkles (Kenneth); Loving Grandfather to (4) Grandchildren, (3) Great Grandchildren, and brother to Carl Gregas.

John was born on June 2, 1942 in Shenandoah, PA. At the age of 21 John joined the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia where he faithfully served his community for 20 years. He had a deep devotion to the Catholic Church, and in particular to St. Joseph. He was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Alexandria, Va, for 55 years where he partook in many projects, including the building of the Adoration Chapel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225 S. Queen St., Martinsburg, WV. on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10:00am. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Carrolltown, PA. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 336 S.
