Linda Louise Rosencrants

Linda Louise Rosencrants of Winchester, VA, peacefully passed away on December 17, 2025. Linda was the cherished daughter of John Gerald Harris and Regina Eugene Geracts, and the beloved sister of Danny Harris (Joan), Allan Harris (Patty), Terry Harris (Linda), Jeannine Thiele, and Barbara Mannes (Dale).

Linda was a loving mother to her daughters, Janet Ann Kimble and her husband John of Cross Junction, VA, and Tammy Marie Flynn and her husband William of Nokesville, VA. Throughout her life, Linda was a dedicated and caring grandmother, with her legacy living on through Regina McCarty, Rebecca Triplett (Corey), Cherie Skrinski (John), Johnathon Kimble, Holly Suwannakam (Suchat), and William Flynn (Heather). She also leaves behind an extraordinary group of great-grandchildren: Dillon McCarty, Cole McCarty, Carter McCarty, Kevin Stottlemyer, Tyler Flynn, Gage Pitman, Harper Skrinski, Hailey McCarty, Amelia Skrinski, Noah Suwannakam, Abby Suwannakam, Noelle Flynn, and Eli Suwannakam, as well as a great-great-granddaughter, Delaney McCarty.

Linda was married to Gregory Vieth on March 13, 1965, and though they later divorced in 1982, they shared many years together. She later married David Riley on December 24, 1982, until his untimely passing in 1988. In 1995, Linda married Melvin Rosencrants, a union that was tragically short-lived, ending with his passing in 1996.

Linda was preceded in death by brothers David Harris and Jack Harris.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Millwood Fire Station, located at 250 Costello Dr, Winchester, VA 22602. Family and friends are invited to gather from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm to honor her memory.
