Mary Jane Williams Canby

Mary Jane Canby, 76, of Martinsburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the home of her daughter Kathy in Morgantown. Born February 10, 2012 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Edward Earl and Catherine (Schell) Williams. Mary was a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church in Martinsburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce M. Canby; three brothers, Jim Wolford, Arthur Wolford, and Richard Williams; three sisters, Anna Meyers, Genieve Wolford, and Dolly Decker. She will be sadly missed by three daughters, Teresa Clanton, Kathy Morrison, and Debbie Hopkins; three sons, Charles Smith, Mark Smith, and David Smith; five sisters, Janet Crouse, Ruth Orr, Fletta Custer, Margie Williams, and Joanie Bailey; her grandchildren, Jerry, Angela, Holly, Tammy, Amanda, Laura Ann, Mark, Jessica, Joshua, Krystal, Daniel, Gerri, Micaleh, Cheryl, Misty, and Samuel. She is also survived by twenty-five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services and interment were private and held at the convenience of the family.
