She loved animals and reading Harry Potter books.
Mikala is survived by her wife, Nessa [Vanessa] Myers; her parents, Barry and Charlene Bass; sister, Kaitlyn; brother, Dustin; Grandparents: Shelton and Joyce Crain of Virginia Beach, Joseph Davis of Martinsburg, and Katie Bass of North Carolina.
She is preceded in death by infant brother Barry N. Bass; grandmother, Stella Davis and grandfather David Bass.
Friends will be received at Rosedale Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home. Internment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
