Phillip McDonald, born on September 12, 1960, in Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 64. He was the son of the late Paul and Rose Mary McDonald. Phillip was a resident of Falling Waters, West Virginia, and was known for being adventurous and hard-working.
Phillip retired from C3M Power Systems after many years of dedicated service. He was a long-time member of the Local 26 IBEW and an active Gear Head. He enjoyed boating and working with anything that had an engine in it, and he cherished spending time outdoors.
He is survived by his son, Paul McDonald, and wife Destiny Hess; grandchildren, Laila' Mae and Lorelei; long-time partner, Cherry Linton; bonus son, Camden Linton; stepchildren, Kimberly Delaplaine and Eric Delaplaine; and his beloved dog, Moose. In addition to his parents, Phillip is preceded in death by his step-granddaughter, London Linton and Aunt Ruby Janes.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
