I just learned of Renae's passing. I met Renae when we worked together at Legal Aid in Roanoke, Virginia. She was a very good friend and a kind and loving person. I will truly miss her. Rest in Serene Peace my friend.

I am very sorry to hear of Renae's passing. I met Renae in the mid-1980s through legal services and Virginia Women Attorneys Association activities. She was truly the best -- tough, committed, and professional, hard-working and quick to laugh. I admired her tremendously.

I am so heavy hearted to have lost such a wonderful lady .  I met Renee about 7 years ago through a mutual friend and helped to keep her home beautiful and clean   iI can still remember the first time i met her .  She was so excited to get her windows clean and her house.  She was such a loving and caring person.  I had several conversations with her during her illness and knew she was struggling  with getting well. I am still in shock that we lost her this soon.  I will always treasure her not only as a client but as a good friend .  Rest in Peace Renee.  Many prayers to your family during this time of sorrow.

Renae is one of the finest people I have ever known; a dedicated advocate, friend, and mentor. Rest in peace, my friend, until we meet again.

Tears, this morning as I saw the Obituary this morning. Renae was such a Blessing to me when my Husband passed away suddenly and I did not know what to do. I will always be forever Grateful to her and the Staff. I once told her that I had always wanted to be a Lawyer as I'm always helping others.I wish I had known she was not well, she died on our 52nd Anniversary. Praying for the Family & Staff.

I am saddened to learn of Renae's passing.  I had known Renae since our high school days at Martinsburg High.  Renae was a deeply caring individual who always tried to help others.  I remember asking about her at last year's high school reunion, as I had not seen her in several years.  Renae touched the lives of many people, and for that we are all thankful.

Rest in peace, my friend.  We are all fortunate to have known you.

Renae and I go back to elementary school. We had a good friendship through the years. She came to several of our reunions. She was a kind and compassionate person. She will be missed. Blessings.

I am so sorry to learn of Renae's death.  I had known her since her Manassas/LSNV days  what a trooper for the disadvantaged!  Renae was always gracious even as she was tenacious.  A true champion has left us.

Renae was an outstanding lawyer, who also cared deeply about her clients and the causes she espoused.  She received numerous accolades for her work as a legal service attorney.  I knew her through the Virginia Women Attorneys Association and was very grateful for her many contributions to that organization.  I will miss her so much!

Renae was one of the first people I met when I moved to Lynchburg some 20+ years ago.  She was always gracious, kind, and helpful, and utterly professional.  I am very sorry to hear she is no longer among us.

My friendship with Renae goes back more than 50 years to high school Spanish class.  Though we had gone decades without seeing each other, we finally got together last spring and had lunch. I'm so thankful for that time together. Rest in peace, amiga!

I haven't seen Renae for many years but I will never forget what a wonderful mentor she was when I interned at Legal Aid while in law school.  Wonderful woman and great attorney.

I have volunteered at Blue Ridge Legal Services for several years. 
Renae was so gracious and efficient.  I enjoyed meeting her and helping out in the office.  She will be sorely missed.

Renae was a crackerjack attorney and a truly good person. I'm just one of the many who will miss her greatly.
