Born December 1, 1937 in Martinsburg, WV he was the son of the late Samuel C. and Opal C. Yonkers Walls.
Rogers enjoyed buying, selling, and restoring cars. He was a member of Fellowship Church of the Brethren and an avid golfer.
In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil and Junior Walls; and three sisters, Mary Bell, Estella Jean Sterling, and Joan Marie Breeden.
Roger is survived by his wife Betty Walls of 52 years; three sons, Roger Lee Walls, Jr., David Todd Walls, and Craig M. Walls; four brothers, Lester Walls, Ray Walls, Willard Walls, and Gary Walls; one sister, Freda Blasingame; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and a host of cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 1pm to 3pm at Fellowship Church of the Brethren with Funeral Services following at 3pm. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery with Military Rites.
