Born on November 20, 1951, at 2:00 a.m. in Martinsburg, Roy was the son of the late Melvin Marion Malatt and Pauline Elizabeth Warfield Malatt.
Roy dedicated many years of hard work to Taylor Farms, where he was employed until his retirement. He was a man who appreciated the simple joys in life and found great happiness in hunting, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his family and loved ones.
He is survived by his two sons, Matthew Malatt and Raymond Malatt; one grandson, Memphis Lee Malatt; two brothers, Richard Malatt and Melvin Leroy Malatt.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his two brothers, Charles Malatt and Pete Malatt.
