Theresa "Tracy" Anderson

Theresa M. “Tracy” Anderson, 60, of Bunker Hill WV, passed away on December 26, 2024 at her home surrounded by her son and devoted husband of 38 years. Born on October 26, 1964 in Chicora, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Elizabeth A. “Betty” Oesterling Karenbauer of Tallmadge, Ohio formerly of Chicora, Pennsylvania and the late Harvey J. Karenbauer Sr.

She was a 1982 graduate of Moniteau High School, West Sunbury, Pennsylvania. Tracy worked in the maintenance department as a maintenance clerk at Shockey Precast for the past 10 years.

Tracy was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She enjoyed swimming in her pool in the summer months, reading her books and being with her friends and family.

In addition to her mother, Tracy is survived by her husband, Daniel Anderson. Also surviving are her son, Kirby Anderson (Erica) of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Beckett A. and Aurora M., a brother Harvey John Karenbauer and his wife Janet of Orlando, Florida, two sisters, Mary Shope and her husband, James of Tallmadge, Ohio, and Tina Gardner and her husband Randy of Greensburg, PA; her mother in law, Shirley Anderson of Butler, Pennsylvania, brother in law, James Anderson and his wife, Karen of Branchton, PA; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kayla Anderson, two brothers, Timothy Karenbauer and Michael Karenbauer, and father in law, James Anderson.

Family and Friends will be received at Rosedale Funeral Home on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Panhandle.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Briana Nowlin, her hospice nurse, and Craig Barrett with Valley Transport for the care and dedication that they provided.

Tracy will be remembered for her zest for life and making the “best cookies ever”, per her grandchildren! She will be deeply missed by all who knew
