Alicia Villegas Cottingham, born October 3, 1943 in Cebu, Philippine Islands, departed this life on December 25, 2015 in Everett, WA at the age of 72. Alicia enjoyed fishing and crabbing, boating, gardening, cooking, dancing, and spending time with her loving family and friends. Alicia is survived by Ronald, her loving husband of 45 years, also, daughters, Nancy Wilson (Ken) of Tulalip, Kathrine Cottingham of Marysville, and Deborah Embree (Ezra) of Spanaway, grandchildren Therin, Rachel, Eddy, Andy, Jordyn, and Ezra, and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Melvin Cottingham, in 1980. A Funeral Mass honoring Alicia’s life will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 11AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4200 – 88th St. NE, Marysville, WA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 1-5PM at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State Ave., Marysville, WA. Memorial donations in Alicia’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
