Debbie Maria Jackson was born on October 21, 1956 in Tacoma Washington to Julia Smith. She was raised in Tacoma and then move to Duncan BC with her mother. She lived there until she was a young age of 60.
Debbie was a very skillful lady. She raised chickens, cows, horses, and pigs. The most animals she didn't enjoy raising were the horses and the pigs. She knew how to can all kinds of food during her life of living alone at a young age.
Debbie had three children, Renée Joe, Daniel Joe and Crystal Joe. She was devastated when she lost her daughter Crystal, but she still carried on. She had three men in her life, Abraham Joe, the father of her children and Don Charlie, who she moved back to Tulalip with in 2016. She resides at the senior apartments 7305 Totem Beach Rd. Apartment C. She was asked to be a babysitter to help Janice Bill take care of her little brother, Willard Bill. He mended her broken heart. And they lived together until she decided to go home to heaven. She had many, many cousins and relatives and she had an adopted daughter she claimed as her own, Evelyn Jimi. She also has a grandson, Philip. He held a special place in her heart.
It did not matter who she met. Everyone who knew her loved her for what she was, a lady with many skills and a great heart of gold. She will be missed by all the young ones she claimed as grandchildren, and all the ones she called Cousin because she had many, no matter where she went. Her son Daniel has a dog that was very special to her. She used to buy all kinds of toys for him and brought to Canada when they took a ride over there. She was in 1910 Shaker, which she enjoyed praying for anyone who asked beause that's the way it is with shaker life.
She could be going down the highway and see an exit - and knew how many miles it was to the exit where she was going. She was amazing. She's gonna be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
She earned her wings by the heart, our Debbie Maria Charlie Jackson.
