

Dorothy was born April 14th 1930 in Burly, Idaho to Henry and Violet Lambert. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Kalma, her brothers Melvin Lambert, Clem Lambert, Dwane Lambert, Jim Lambert and sisters, Jeanie Kelly and Sharon Richards.
She is survived by her children, her daughter and caregiver Cheryl Gstohl (Amundson), son in law Fred Amundson, her loving grandson Michael Gstohl (Tiffany) and granddaughters Ciara Welborn, Savannah Green, and great grandson Bentley, grandsons Scott and Steve Amundson and their families.
Her son, Garry Kalma (Monica), grandchildren Jamie Horton (Scott), Jason Kalma (Keri), great grandchildren Taylor Horton, Kamryn Horton, Camden O’Neil and Henlie Kalma.
Her son, Charles Kalma and granddaughters Rachel Kalma, Ashley Kalma, and extended great grandchildren. Her sister in law Marcella Kalma, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Highschool in Snohomish Wa in 1947, she moved to Wenatchee Wa where she met Richard and they married on February 19th 1949.
Dorothy and Richard, moved to Marysville Wa and raised turkeys on their farm known as The Kalma’s Turkey Farm for many of years. Dorothy was also a successful real estate agent.
Dorothy loved life! She was young at heart and very adventurous. She loved hunting, fishing, camping and boating. She was a competitor and loved to beat anyone at bowling, pinochle, yahtzee, cribbage and especially aggravated marbles.
She loved vacationing in Hawaii and our mom was a great bowler and loved water aerobics. She also enjoyed going to church and Bible study fellowship.
She was a wonderful woman and will be deeply missed. She is now heaven with her family.
Donations can be made to Hospice of the Northwest or St Jude’s Hospital.
There will be a grave site service for family members only. Date and time will be shared with family.
