Gloria Jean Klinger passed away peacefully on March 28th, 2026, at providence hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Everett, WA to Clarence “Buck” Bradburn and Doratha “Babe” (Craig) Bradburn. Gloria grew up in Lake McMurray, WA in a house by the water and attended school in Conway. She married Bill Klinger on October 4th, 1954, in Arlington, WA. Gloria was 6 months along with her oldest son William “Buddy” when she found out her father Clarence had cancer. She came back to Washington on the train, and he sadly passed at the age of 50 and was unable to meet his grandchildren. Gloria later welcomed Daryl Klinger and Doreen (Petersen) into the world. Gloria had a deep love for caring for others throughout her life. Her grandchildren loved spending time at Grandma’s house and helping her make her famous salmon cakes along with other treats like pumpkin pie and cookies. Gloria had a special touch like no other. If her grandchildren did not normally like vegetables, they would just gobble them up at grandma’s house. Her whole family loved listening to her play both the acoustic and electric guitars as well as the organ. Gloria had many hobbies and interests, including painting, crafting, and feeding the birds in her backyard, with hummingbirds being her favorite. She would paint fairytale houses on rocks and display them in her living room for all to enjoy. She was so generous that he started to feed a family a raccoons on her deck. Until one day a raccoon grabbed her leg from under the steps! Needless to say, that ended her feeding times with the neighborhood raccoons.
