Born March 28, 1919, In Saranville, NB, to Eddie and Ruby Anderson. Helen's goal was to reach 100, and when we talked about her 99th birthday approaching she said " That's a lot of birthday cake" and added "it's been a good trip". She enjoyed sewing (for herself and others making lots of lovely things), cooking, baking (she always had a homemade dessert to offer with coffee), besides birthday and wedding cakes for others. She also found comfort and peace working in her garden. Most people would describe her as a sweet positive lady. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Geary who passed in 2002. Helen was the oldest and last of five siblings, Clarence, Wally, Eunice and Fern. She is survived by her daughter, Audrey (Brian) Reece, granddaughter, Gretchen (Aran) Enger and great granddaughter, Elsa Enger; also a few cousins, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Viewing will be on Saturday, August 12, 2017, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville, WA with an Open House, during the same time at the Reece's, 7011 57th Drive NE, Marysville.
