Howard was born July 10, 1941 in California to Harold and Winifred Hall. He was a professor for 35 years as well as a missionary for 4 ½ year in Rawanda, Africa.
Howard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly; three children, Carl Hall, Carol (Brian) Young, and Bonny Currie; his three sisters, Ruth Martella, Laverne Beckner, and Barbara Snow; and six grandchildren, Lisa and Matt Young, Ryan and Adam Currie, and Emalyn and Ethan Hall.
A time of visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 from 6 – 8 pm at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Burlington Seventh Day Adventist Church, 800 Peacock Lane, Burlington. Interment at Bay View Cemetery in Burlington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Worthy Student Fund at the Skagit Adventist Academy, 530 N. Section St., Burlington, WSA 98233 or to the Fletcher Academy, P.O. Box 5440, Fletcher, NC 28732.
