
He was preceded in death by his six brothers and three sisters. His oldest son Thomas James Stratton, who passed on April 22, 2010. Survived by his wife Beverly Mae( Rue) Stratton “who he loved and cherished for the past 66 years,” Daughter Karen Lynn (Stratton) Goodrich and youngest son Ricky Eugene Stratton, seven grand children, and nine great grand children.
Arrangements are under the care of Schaefer-Shipman funeral Home.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Marysville cemetery, located at 8801 State Ave., Marysville, WA. The family will be greeting family and friends at 10 am. On December 5, 2015, For final goodbyes and blessings as our Lord watches over his soul.
James retired after a 20 year career with the local 302 operators engineers, where he started his career on the Grand Coulee dam project and ended on the construction of I-5 with hundreds of sewer and water line projects in-between. James passion was fishing and hunting, he loved to shared his passion and mentored every one he possibly could on how to enjoy these sports. So we are confident that as the lord cast his net and reels James in, he will judge him as a keeper.
