Tanner was getting ready to enter his Junior year at Marysville Pilchuck High School. He has grown up in the Marysville community attending Shoultes Elementary, Cascade Elementary, and Cedarcrest Middle School. Growing up he was very involved in the community through sports, gaining lifelong friendships that became family. In his early years football was his passion, but as he got older basketball became his true love (along with videogames). There were many coaches involved that helped teach Tanner lifelong lessons that shaped him into the young man that he had become. Tanner's love for sports guided him into becoming a referee within the community. Aside from sports, Tanner enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his grandparents cabin riding quads, swimming in the river, shooting guns, and sledding in the snow. He especially enjoyed snuggling, playing, and roughhousing with his "Puppy Graham".
Tanner was the best son a parent could have asked for, always playful, joking, and laughing. He was a great and genuine kid. He leaves our hearts aching and full of sorrow. Leaving behind his mother Kristin Urban, his dad Jason Erickson, and his biological father Kelsey Stackhouse. Tanner's love and protection for his siblings was like no other even though he was the first one to push their buttons. Tanner was a big little brother to Jenaea Brunson, Samantha Erickson, Kylinn Erickson, and an older brother to Landon Stackhouse, and Laella Stackhouse. Tanner meant the world to his grandparents Terri Urban, Curtis Urban, Renae Sedy, and (proceeded in death by) Marty Sedy. He was loved tremendously by his great-grandparents Ewing Davis, Glenyce Erickson, (proceeded in death by) Bob Erickson. He had numerous aunts and uncles who would describe him as an inspiring leader and full of joy. While the cousin's would see him as goofy, charismatic, optimistic, and confident. Tanner was also a sweet and loving uncle himself.
Tanner will be missed by many. He will always be remembered for his soft heart, witty comebacks, contagious laugh, and unforgettable charming smile, through our memories and stories.
