April 15, 1951-Feb. 26, 2015 Terrence Patrick O'Reilly long time resident of Snohomish, Washington died peacefully on Thursday February 26, 2015 at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett Washington at the age of 63. Terry was born in Julesburg Colorado on April 15, 1951 to Jerome B. O'Reilly and Marge Hothan O'Reilly. Terry was raised in Omaha Nebraska by his parents along with his brothers Timothy F. O'Reilly, Shaun W. O'Reilly and Kevin J. O'Reilly. Terry attended Benson West grade school, Lewis and Clark Junior High and Benson High school from which he graduated in 1969. In 1970, Terry the ringleader, Kevin, and his friend Snyder, did the unthinkable. On Terry's advice they travelled across the Western US and drove into Mexico - the most rewarding time ever with a brother! From 1969 through 1978 Terry attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and majored in the Arts and Sciences. In 1979 Terry moved to Seattle, Washington after a long drive "seeing the sights" across the Western US. On March 17, 1980 Terry was hired at the Boeing Company as a Production Illustrator in Everett, Washington on the 767 program. Throughout his 35 year career at Boeing, Terry worked on the 737, 747, 757, 767, 777 and 787 airplanes in Wiring Installation and process and tool development. Terry was a philosopher, a visionary, a mentor to many, and a dear friend. Terry will be remembered for his outgoing and "can do" attitude, every day was "Another Big Day". Once Terry had a vision of how things could be done nothing could stop him from making it a reality. Terry is survived by his brother, Kevin J. O'Reilly of Elk Horn, Nebraska. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome B. O'Reilly and Marge Hothan O'Reilly; and his brothers, Timothy F. O'Reilly and Shaun W. O'Reilly.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Terry's life will be held March 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. (PST) at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville, Washington
