Bill was born October 3, 1932 in Springdale, Washington to Charles and Mae Blatt. Bill worked for Western Electric for 22 years and GTE for 15 years before retiring in 1993.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Blatt of Arlington; his children, Bonnie (Dick) Kerr of Lynnwood, Rick Blatt of Lynnwood, Kay (Glen) Thomsen of Everett, Michael Heimbigner, Karen Morton of Vancouver, WA, and Mark (Christine) Heimbigner of Cle Elum, WA; his sister Ida (Dan) Edmonds of Valley, WA; many international sons and daughters; numerous grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Frederick Charles Blatt and his granddaughter, Heather Heimbigner.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held Friday, November 18, 2011 at 3:30 PM at the Marysville Free Methodist Church, 6715 Grove St. Marysville, WA. Burial will follow in Springdale, WA at a later date.
