William B Janes was born in St. Louis, MO on January 6, 1935 and he passed away on February 22 at the age of 91. Bill and Diane Janes were married and celebrated 56 years together. His parents were John Valle Janes and Genevieve Barnickel Janes. Bill was devoted to his four daughter’s, Carrie, Valle and Kelley Janes and his stepdaughter Julie Baker Janes whom he loved, cared for and cherished. Bill served in the US Army 82nd airborne. He was an adventurer, businessman and craftsman. He lived life large. His favorite past time was eating good food with good friends while sharing good stories.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, Feb. 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Gathering Hall with burial to follow at Mission Beach Cemetery.
