Arlene Cawley

Arlene Cawley, born in Brooklyn in 1938, passed away on March 26, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Arlene married Gerald Cawley in 1959, and together they raised four children: Michael, Kenneth, Christine, and Maureen.

Arlene was blessed with five grandchildren: Meghan, Brendan, Erin, Alison, and Kyle. She cherished her role as a great-grandmother to Francesca, Joseph, Madeline, Layla, and Avery. Her family eagerly anticipates the arrival of her sixth great-grandchild in May.

Arlene had a deep affection for her cat, Toby, who brought her endless joy. She had a passion for bedazzled jewelry that added a sparkle to her spunky personality.

Arlene will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A visitation for Arlene will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758. A religious service will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 8:00 PM, James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758. Committal service to be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
