Craig L. Kalish, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, passed away on February 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family. He was the cherished husband of Lori, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond.
Craig was a loving and dedicated father to his sons, Benjamin and Andrew, and a caring stepfather to Kayla Lambert and Thomas Lambert. Family was the cornerstone of his life, and he embraced his role as a true patriarch with pride and joy. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas, and is survived by his devoted mother, Lenora, to whom he was a loving son. Craig also leaves behind his cherished siblings, Jason Kalish and Michelle McKeon, as well as his nephew, Robert McKeon, who will forever remember him as a fun and loving uncle.
Known as a kind and gentle giant, Craig’s tall, dark, and handsome presence was matched by his playful spirit and sharp sense of humor. His big personality could light up any room, and he had a gift for making those around him feel seen and supported. A driven professional, he balanced ambition with a warmth that endeared him to all who knew him. Craig was always there to lend a hand, his generosity and loyalty leaving an indelible mark on his loved ones.
A passionate Raiders fan, Craig loved watching sports and hated watching movies, but his true delight came in exploring new foods and sharing those experiences with family and friends. His enthusiasm for life was infectious, and his absence will be deeply felt.
Visitation will be held at James Funeral Home on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a religious service at 7:00 PM. Craig will be missed beyond measure by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his memory will live on in the countless lives he touched with his love, humor, and boundless heart.
