JOHN J. BAILEY, on August 10, 2014 of Massapequa. Beloved husband of Norberta Bailey. Loving father of Veronica (Ron) Mantovani. Loving grandfather of Veronica (Frank) Benedetto. Cherished great grandfather of Giocchino, Frank, and Giavana. Also survived by a niece Maureen and nephew Robert. John served for the United States Army during WWII, a former Prisoner of War. John was a proud owner of his dog Sandy. John was a member of the ELKS Club and a passed Exalted Ruler.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~ Funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10:45 a.m. at Maria Regina RC Church, 3945 Jerusalem Avenue, Massapequa, NY 11758 ~ Interment to follow, to St. Johns Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, NY 11379~

Family and friends are welcome to James Funeral Home on Thursdays at 9:45 a.m. before leaving for the funeral mass.
