LUCY J. KANE, on February 2, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Bernard A. Kane, of 43 years of marriage. Loving mother of Dennis (Ann), Chris (Melissa), and Claire (Grant). Cherished grandmother of Michael, Melanie, Lauren, Dylan, Bonnie, Russell and Evan. Adored great grandmother of Kayleigh, K.J., Jackson, Matthew, Ryan, Dimitri, and Branden. Fond sister of Antoinette and Stella. Lucy worked as a bookkeeper. Lucy had wonderful cats Jake and Emma. She enjoyed playing golf, painting, knitting, cooking, and going to the theater. Lucy was involved with Flushing Botanical, and feeding the poor through her church. Lucy was a devout catholic who loved her rum and coke, and also wine cut with water.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, New York.

~ Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~ Religious service will be held in the chapel, Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m. ~ Cremation Private ~
