Paul was the devoted husband of the late Virginia Tyznar and a loving father to Paul Tyznar (Ann) and the late John Tyznar.
He was a proud and cherished grandfather to Annabelle, Christian, Kristina, Jessica, and Paul, and a deeply adored great-grandfather to Brandon, Calogero, Freya, Alessia, Paulie, Wolfgang, Raven, and Maverick. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren lovingly knew him as “Pop’s,” a name that reflected the warmth, strength, and guidance he brought to their lives.
He is also survived by his sister, Eleanor, and was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy.
Paul dedicated his working life as a skilled carpenter, taking great pride in building and creating with his hands. He also honorably served in the United States Marine Corps, a role that shaped his identity and remained a lifelong source of pride. Paul was rarely seen without something representing his service—whether a shirt, hat, or flag—demonstrating his unwavering respect and love for his country.
In his free time, Paul found joy in collecting coins, embracing the outdoors, and working with machinery. He had a particular passion for shooting, building, and operating backhoes and other heavy equipment, pursuits that reflected both his craftsmanship and adventurous spirit.
Paul will be remembered for his strength, dedication to family, and the pride he carried in all aspects of his life. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
