RITA MCGLYNN, on November 5, 2013 of Massapequa, New York. Loving mother of Rita (Ray) Schmidt. Cherished grandmother of Amanda and Taryn. Adored sister of John Kenney, the late Joseph Sparacin, Alice Facilla, Judith Kenney, Karen Echeverri, and Lynn Sparacin. Rita worked for a retail management company. Rita was a loving cat owner of Tabitha and Samantha. She loved going to casinos, playing cards, traveling and watching the Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR. Rita was completely devoted to her granddaughters. She loved country music, and being in the mountains. Rita's daughter was her best friend.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, New York.

Rita's visitation will be held on Friday, from 2:00 to 4:30 and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~ Religious Service will be held in the Chapel at 8:00 p.m. Friday evening ~

Family and friends are welcome to James Funeral Home on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. before leaving for the interment to St. Charles Cemetery, Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York at 11:00 a.m. ~
