Robert Peter Sloan Sr.

Robert P. Sloan Sr. of Massapequa Park, a Navy veteran and beloved patriarch, passed away on February 22, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Agnes, and his brother Arthur Fleckenstein Jr. Robert was a loving father to Robert P. Sloan Jr (Linda), Dennis Michael (Patti) Sloan, and Ann Marie, and a cherished grandfather to Kimberly Sloan-Montalvo (Ernesto), Jennifer Sloan Wechgelaer (Greg), Robert P. Sloan III, Lisa (Terri Tsui), and Christine Sloan-Ward (Steven). He was also a beloved great-grandfather to Aidan, Gavin, Lilah, and Charlotte. Robert was a man of many talents, known for his skills as a woodworker, fisherman, and amateur auto mechanic. He had a passion for his cabin in upstate New York that nurtured his love for wildlife and nature, He was a dedicated Mets fan. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held Sunday 2-4 & 6-8. A funeral Mass will be held Monday at the Maria Regina RC Church @ 10:45 am. Family request in lieu of flowers Donations be made to St. Jude and North Shore animal League.
