ROSE AMATO, passed away on December 30, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Julius. Loving mother of Laura (Sal) Malonga. Cherished grandmother of Alison Geltner and Samantha Burkhardt. Adored great grandmother of Jackson, Benjamin, Cooper, Maxwell, Casey and Oliver. Rose of a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed a good game of Bingo.

"She was loving and kind and the light of her life were Alison, Samantha, and all her boys".

Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~ Funeral mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. William the Abbot RC Church, 2000 Jackson Avenue, Seaford, New York 11783 ~ Interment to follow to Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton New York

Family and friends are welcome to James Funeral Home on Monday at 9:00 a.m. before leaving for the funeral mass.
