Rose Di Lorenzo, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, devoted friend, and cherished family advocate, passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 97. Born on May 27, 1926, Rose touched the lives of many with her warmth, compassion, and unwavering strength.
Renowned for her culinary skills, Rose was not only a great cook but also a nurturing mother who provided comfort and love to her family. A peacemaker at heart, she valued harmony and was always there to lend an ear, earning her the title of a great listener among friends and family.
With a love for laughter and a penchant for glamour never leaving the house until put together and her lipstick on. Rose embraced life with optimism and grace. Her love for family was evident in every moment spent together. She particularly enjoyed gatherings with family and friends relishing in the joy of good company, a day of shopping, and delicious meals at her favorite restaurant.
A woman of faith, Rose found solace in her devotion to the Catholic religion and had a special affinity for St. Anthony, whom she prayed to faithfully. Her gentle demeanor, combined with her directness and strong will, left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
