Miss Alesia Monae Burns, 23, died August 14, 2012 in Louisville, KY. Miss Burns was born October 5, 1988 in Maysville to Melissa Applegate and George Burns, Jr. Alesia is survived by her two daughters, Laniah Crump and Leiyonna Crump, also 2 sisters Amber Johnson and Alicia Burns both of Maysville. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents Norman and Pauline Applegate of Maysville, paternal grandfather George W. Burns, Sr. of Maysville and 2 nieces Neveah Wright and Arianna Wright. Miss Burns was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Dorothy Lewis Burns. Services for Alesia Burns will be Saturday, August 18 at 1 p.m. at the New Beginnings Family Worship Center in Washington. Burial will be in the Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 17 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
