Betty Jeanne Eberly

Betty Jeanne Eberly, 89, died July 1, 2012 at her home in Maysville. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 10, 1923 to the late Ralph and Mable Van Rhea Garner Ward. Mrs. Eberly is survived by her husband Lyndon E. Eberly, Jr. She was a member of the May’s Lick Presbyterian Church and was involved with the Girl Scouts and Licking Valley Senior Citizens and many other civic activities. She is survived by her son Lyndon E. Eberly III of Olathe, KS, three daughters, Judith Ann (Larry) Jones, Barbara Jeanne Blake both of Overland Park, KS, Jane Ann (Ray) Rowland of Peebles, OH, one brother John (Lee) Steven Burris of Fort Wayne, IN, 6 grandchildren, Stephanie Linn Mareski, Christopher Lee Jones, Robert Lyndon Blake, Kathryn Marie McQueen, Candice Ann Beckett, and Jennifer Marie Rowland, and 7 great grandchildren. Services for Betty Eberly will be Friday, July 6 at 11 A.M. at the Maysville First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Laurie McKnight officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Lionel Green, Lyndon Eberly III, Barry Field, Ray Walters, Larry Jones, Steve Burris, Ray Rowland, Robert Lyndon Blake and serving as an honorary bearer will be Christopher Lee Jones. Visitation will be Thursday, July 5 from 6 until 8 P.M. at the church.
