Billy R. Riggs

Billy R. Riggs, 67, of Fleming Road, Maysville died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Mr. Riggs was born in Maysville, Kentucky on April 17, 1946 the son of the late Elwood and Louise Gallagher Riggs. He retired from the City of Maysville. He is survived by his son, Brian Keith Riggs of Brooksville, KY; two daughters, Tanya Marie Riggs of Flemingsburg, KY and Allison Rae Nicole Rigdon (Jamie) of Aberdeen, OH; eight greandchilren, Jasmine Meldrum, Emma Riggs, Ashtyn Riggs, Madison Riggs, Taylor Sandlin, Savanna Proffitt, Gaige Rigdon and Kinley Rigdon; three brothers, Fred Riggs (Yoko), James Riggs and Robert Riggs all of Maysville and five sisters, Emajean White of Clarksville, TN, Juanita Poe of Washiington, KY, Hazel Grigson Egleston of Fernleaf, Carroll Lawrence of Tollesboro, KY and Mae Tune of Dover, KY. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Buster Riggs.

There will be no visitation. Services for Billy R. Riggs were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
