
Frances Louise Pollitt, 70, of US 62, Maysville died January 1, 2013 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. She was the widow of Wendell Howard Pollitt who died October 28, 1991. Mrs. Pollitt had formerly worked for the office of Dr. Claude E. Cummins and for Ken’s New Market. She was a member of the Washington Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Pollitt was born in Maysville, Kentucky on December 15, 1942 the daughter of the late Ruben and Claire Clay Warner. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Pollitt of Georgetown, KY and Pam Pollitt of Maysville and three sons, Joe Pollitt of Florida, Tony Pollitt and Trevor Pollitt both of Maysville; six grandchildren, Cody Pollitt, Josh Lofton, Katelyn Pollitt, Hunter Pollitt, Mikey Pollitt and Beverly Reed and three great grandchildren, Tanner Orme, Trey Reed and Emma Reed. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, William Warner. Funeral services for Frances Pollitt will be held at the Washington Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2013 with Rev. Darrell Ashby officiating. Burial will be in the Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Friday, January 4, 2013 from 5 to 7 PM. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
