Helen Mirl Florence

Helen M. Florence, age 78 of Manchester, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. She was born October 2, 1939 in Maysville, Kentucky to the late William and Katherine Boone Brumley. She was also preceded in death by her husband Scottie Florence; son: Gordon Douglas; special granddaughter: Amber Nicole Choate; two brothers: William “Bud” Brumley and Sonny Brumley; three sisters: Joanna Burgett, Dorothy Lewis and Tootie Stanton. Helen was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Left behind to mourn her passing is her daughters: Andrea Choate and husband Eddie of Aberdeen, OH, Linda Bonello of Newport, MI and Carol Jean Hutchinson of Milford, OH; two sons: Mike Lewis of Manchester, OH and Billy Lawrence of Manchester, OH; two sisters: Terri Wood of New Orleans, LA, and Nancy Ramirez of Aberdeen, OH; three grandchildren: Brandon Florence, Josh Florence and Chad Lewis.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Knox and Brothers Funeral Home 625 East Second Street Maysville, KY 41056. She will be laid to rest at Wedonia Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
