Janet Sue Riggs

Janet Sue Riggs, 69, of Florence Street died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Mrs. Riggs retired from East Kentucky Power and had formerly worked at Wald Mfg. Company. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky on July 2, 1943 the daughter of the late Henry T. “Petey” and Irene “Cricket” Tucker Watson. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert Riggs; one son, Robbie Riggs (Christi) and one daughter, Vickie Smith (Frank) all of Maysville; three grandchildren, Craig Smith, Nikki Riggs and April Dawn Riggs and two great grandchildren, Logan Smith and Brooklyn Major. Funeral services for Janet Riggs will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Saturday, February 2, 2013 with Rev. George Burns officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM until the hour of the service.
