Jeanne Rudy Lyons

Jeanne Rudy Lyons, 91, of Lexington, KY died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at her residence. She was the widow of James V. Lyons who died November 22, 2002. Mrs. Lyons was a former member of the Maysville First Christian Church. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky on November 15, 1921 the daughter of the late Newton Cooper Rudy and Edna Farrow Rudy. She is survived by her son, Kevin Lyons of Lexington, Kentucky and her daughter, Janis L. Carr of Birmingham, Alabama; two grandchildren, Travis Carr and Shannon Carr Sonia and three great grandchildren, Zoe Carr, Jack Ryder Carr and Ian Sonia. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother John J. “Bud” Rudy. Funeral services for Jeanne Lyons will be held at the Maysville Cemetery Chapel at 1:00 PM Monday, April 1, 2013 with Rev. Steve Lesher officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to the service.
