John J.C. Walker

John Charles Walker, “J.C.”, 67 passed away at his home on July 10, 2012. Mr. Walker was born in Maysville on October 9, 1944. J.C. was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle on August 27, 2001. He is also preceded in death by his parents Calvin Walker and Frances Jones Walker. J.C. is survived by his brother Robert L. Walker of Cincinnati and his wife Susan, a niece Leigh Walker of Charleston, SC and a nephew Owen Walker of Nashville, TN. J.C. was a lifelong resident of Maysville and was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church. He graduated from Maysville High School, the University of Kentucky and attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 15 at 2 P.M. Rev. Tony Liess will officiate. Visitation will be held at Knox and Brothers Funeral Home on Sunday, July 15 from 1 until the hour of service. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church, 18 E.
