Minkie Clarke Denham

Minkie Clarke Denham, 89, widow of Dr. Harry C. Denham, died Nov 26, 2012 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. She was born in Maysville, the daughter of the late John Hord Clarke II and Thelma Hayden Kirk Clarke. Mrs. Denham was a member of Trinity United Methodist church, the United Methodist Women, an avid bridge player, a member of the Maysville Garden Club and a graduate of the University of Kentucky. She is survived by a son John Rees (Fran) Denham of Maysville one daughter Cynthia Clarke Denham (Michael) Gardner, Lexington, six grandchildren, Jay, Rees, and Sterling Denham, Whitney Gardner Evans, Mason and Sam Gardner, four great grandchildren, Boone Michael Denham, Dillon Clayton Denham, Hudson Dean Evans, and Isabella Rose Evans, one sister Mary Fox Clarke Legg of Henderson, NC. Preceding her in death was her brother John Hord Clarke. Funeral services for Minkie C. Denham will be, Friday Nov 30, 2 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in the Maysville Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
