Nancy Sue Garrett

Maysville - Nancy P. Garrett, 77, of Maysville, Kentucky died Tuesday, August 01, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Garrett retired from Bill Boggs State Farm after thirty years of service. She was a member of the St. Patrick Church and she enjoyed her two dogs, Xena and Max. She was born in West Union, Ohio on May 16, 1940 the daughter of the late Sherwood and Mary Ashton Potts. She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Robert C. “Bob” Garrett; her five children, Sheri Mattingly (Mike), Jodi Adams (Larry) and Angie Garrett all of Maysville, KY; Jennifer Bones (Tom) of Punta Gorda, Florida and Eric Garrett (Amy) of Raleigh, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Susanne Carpenter, Haley Garrett, Lexi Adams, Ashton Adams, Tyler Mattingly, Clay Mattingly, Brandon Lindenbusch, Sara Kearns and Samantha Gutzki and ten great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Valla Stevenson and a brother who died in infancy. A celebration of life service will be held the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Saturday, August 12, 2017. Visitation with her family will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
