

Ollie J. Fryman, 90, of Maysville, Kentucky died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Mr. Fryman was a member of the Maysville Church of the Nazarene. He was a Kentucky Colonel, a Kentucky Frontiersman, a avid wood craftsmen and avid gardener and loved to do lawn care. Mr. Fryman was born in Fleming County, Kentucky on June 13, 1926 the son of the late Avery Tilton Fryman and Blanche Tucker Fryman. He was a retired Tow Boat Captian for TTI. He is survived by his wife of Seventy-Five years, Ann Berry Fryman whom he married on April 21, 1945; his sons, James T. Fryman (Donna), Johnny Fryman (Shirley) and Terry Fryman (Sharon) all of Maysville, KY; seven grandchildren, Donnie Fryman, John David Fryman, Jeremy Fryman, Jeff Fryman, David Fryman, Michelle Vice and Andy Fryman; sixteen great grandchildren; sisters, Oleta Christine Mitchell, Martha Elliott and Betty Kielman all of Maysville, KY, Libby Ford of Connersville, IN and Vivian Robinson of Elizaville, KY and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Reda Kay Fryman, one brother, Elwood Fryman and one sister, Ruth Claypoole. Funeral services for Ollie J. Fryman will be held at the Maysville Church of the Nazarene at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 29, 2017. Burial will be in the Washington Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donnie Fryman, John David Fryman, Jeremy Fryman, Jeff Fryman, David Fryman and Josh Vice. Michelle Vice will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, April 28, 2017from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations can be made to the Maysville Church of the Nazarene, 156 W. Maple Leaf Road, Maysville, KY 41056 or to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056. The arrangements are entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
